The EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community

Explanatory Note (23 June 2016)

The Contracting Authority (British Council) is pleased to announce that we have finalised the selection process and final award list for the 2016/2017 Call.

Following the process outlined in the published guidelines:

The Evaluation Committee will review the results and make final recommendations to the Contracting Authority.  The Contracting Authority will then make any final adjustments to the sub-category grant allocations and applicants will be informed of the results.

In order to ensure maximum utilisation of funds the Contracting Authority (British Council) reserves the right to re-allocate funding between the sub-categories, should there not be enough candidates who qualify in one or more of the sub-categories.  Priority will be given to 1) to people who have never studied outside the northern part of Cyprus; and 2) to people who have never studied in an EU member state” (Section 6.5: Award of Scholarship and Utilisation of Funds)

EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community 2016/2017
