The European Union Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot Community

Applicants will receive additional scores if they apply for one of subject in the priority subject areas stated in section 1.3.  The list of priority subjects is available in the application portal.  The following methodology will ap[ly for applicants choosing to study in one of the specified subject areas:

  • Agriculture
  • Computer Sciences
  • Engineering
  • EU Law
  • Translation & Interpretation (between any EU languages and between any EU languages and Turkish, e.g. English to French, Spanish to Italian, English to Turkish, etc.) 

Score Promotion Procedure

 Transform raw scores into standardized scores before doing any calculations and giving decisions

  1. Standardized scores gained fromVNVS Test and MOTIVATION LETTER are summed up to genreate a toal score.  5% of this SCORE is added to the SCORE candidates wo applied for the priority areas. 
  2. Standardized scores gained from VNVS Test and MOTIVATION LETTER are summed up to genreate a total SCORE.  5% of this SCORE is added to the SCORE of candidates who applied for the PRIORITY AREAS.
  3. The candidates applying for the priority areas will compete with the applicants within their sub-category.
