The European Union Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot Community

If processing your application involves the recording and processing of personal data (such as names, addresses and CVs), such data will be processed pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data. Unless indicated otherwise, your replies to the questions and any personal data requested are required to evaluate your proposal in accordance with the guidelines for the call for proposal and will be processed solely for that purpose by the data controller. The EU Scholarship Programme office will use the information that you are providing in connection with processing your application. The legal basis for processing your information is agreement with the terms and conditions of application (contract).

The British Council complies with data protection law in the UK and laws in other countries that meet internationally accepted standards. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. If you have concerns about how we have used your personal information, you also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.
